401(k) Dental insurance Flexible schedule Health insurance Vision insurance Responsibilities Utilize nursing concepts and skills in the safe implementation of basic preventative therapeutic and rehabilitative nursing care of assigned patient/family as evidenced by documentation and observation of positive patient care outcomes. Perform specified independent nursing functions using established procedures, guidelines, policies and standards as observed by the registered nurse. Administer medication accurately, observing patient response, as evidenced by documentation in the medical record to avoid negative outcome. Maintain and coordinate communication among patient/family or caregiver, staff and physician as evidenced within medical record, client and health care team feedback. Assist patients, family members or other clients with concern and empathy; respect their confidentiality and privacy and communicate with them in a courteous and respectful manner. Change dressings and bandages, ensuring patients are healing properly. Safely move patients from wheelchairs or beds Requirements Valid LPN/RN license in the state of PA. 1 to 2 years Nursing experience preferred. Strong knowledge of medication administration protocols and patient assessment techniques. Familiarity with feeding tubes, IV’s, trach & vents, mental health or developmental disabilities Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and patient care processes.
