Job Description
Category Schools – LPN Nurse Job Type Contract A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) is sought for a K-12 school setting to provide comprehensive healthcare support throughout the school year. This contract position is based in Easton, PA, serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade. The role requires skilled and compassionate nursing care to help maintain student wellness and address health concerns in a school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers. Monitor and document student health conditions and maintain accurate health records. Provide first aid and emergency care when necessary. Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to develop individualized healthcare plans. Educate students and staff on health-related issues and preventive care. Participate in health screenings and immunization clinics. Support students with chronic health conditions to manage their care during school hours.
Qualifications:
Current and active LPN/LVN licensure. Experience working in school health or pediatric nursing preferred. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively with children, parents, and school personnel. CPR and First Aid certification.
