We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of patients. This role requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering excellent nursing support under the supervision of registered nurses and medical providers.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with daily living activities. Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory guidelines. Prepare and administer medications and injections as prescribed. Assist with wound care, catheterizations, IVs, and other nursing procedures. Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, medications, and health maintenance. Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols. Support patients emotionally and physically during treatment and recovery. Respond promptly to patient calls and needs, ensuring a high level of patient satisfaction. Participate in shift handovers and communicate critical information effectively.
