POSITION SUMMARY
Resident Care Coordinatorimplements standards of resident care on a 24-hour basis in the SNFunits of the campus. This position oversees the nursing aspects,directing and evaluating of all Skilled Nursing personnel providingdirect resident care within the campus.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
?Maintains residents’ charts to include all admission documents,care plans, records of care, and any other documents required bystate regulatory agencies. ? Operates the Skilled Nursing area incompliance with all regulations from federal, state, or any othergovernmental agencies having jurisdiction over the campus and actas liaison between the campus and regulatory agencies. ? Implementsthe administration of resident medications, assesses response tomedications and treatments and makes appropriate adjustments orrecommendations for nursing activity to be implemented ?Participates in and leads staff meetings and implements nursingprogram ? Conducts daily resident rounds and initiates correctiveaction as necessary. ? Participates in and attends all in-servicetraining and education programs as scheduled. ? Other duties asassigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
? Two or Four yearcollege or university degree required. ? Current state licensure asa Nurse is required. ? Two years’ experience in a similarhealthcare position required. ? Five years of healthcare experiencedesired. ? Remain in good standing with all standards of the NursePractice Act.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
? Abilityto read, write, speak and understand English fluently. ? Ability tomeet or exceed the company’s attendance and punctuality standards.? Ability to use Electronic Records and miscellaneous software andoffice equipment. ? Ability to understand and follow directions asgiven. ? Ability to work with minimal supervision
