Job Description
Under the supervision of a RegisteredNurse, this position provides daily nursing care, training, activities, andtreatment to the people who live at the Regional Centers inaccordance withall licensing andcertification requirements, the South Carolina Nursing Practice Act, and South Carolina Department of Disabilities and Special Needs Policies and Procedures.1. Administer s rout in e oral, subcutaneous, and intramuscular medications as well as treatments in accordance with nursing protocol, facility policies, and procedures.2. Monitors health conditions of the individuals and reports findings to medical provider and appropriate staff. Assist s physician/practitioner with examinations and treatments as needed.3. Maintains a safe and sanitary living and working environment.4. Ensures accountability and protection from harm for all individuals through appropriate and thorough documentation.5. Review s Monthly Medication Administration Record (MAR) and 90-day recertification orders, completes health care re cords, AIMS/DISCUS, swallowing and SAOM Evaluations . Assists with weights and heights as ordered and indicated by policy and procedure s. P roper ly document s as needed.6. Performs and participates in activities as otherwise assigned by the supervisor to include, but not limited to, participation in on-call rotation procedure .The salaryrangefor this positionis $52,000 to $57,396 andwill be based on verified work-related nursing experience as indicated onthe candidatesapplication.
