Responsibilities:
Resident Care Administer medication and treatment as prescribed by healthcare providers. Monitor and assess residents’ health status, documenting changes and reporting to the appropriate medical personnel. Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create and implement personalized care plans.
Clinical Support:
Conduct routine health assessments and maintain accurate resident records. Assist in coordinating and scheduling medical appointments for residents. Provide wound care, injections, and other nursing interventions as needed. Monitor and manage residents’ chronic conditions, updating care plans accordingly.
Communication and Collaboration:
Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and the interdisciplinary team. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care. Attend and actively participate in care conferences and team meetings.
Emergency Response:
Follow established protocols and procedures for emergency situations. Ensure the safety and well-being of residents during emergency events.
Quality Assurance:
Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities. Adhere to state and federal regulations, maintaining compliance with all licensing requirements. Contribute to maintaining a safe and sanitary environment for residents.
Requirements:
Current and valid LPN CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Previous experience in assisted living or a similar healthcare setting is preferred. Strong clinical skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.
