We are currently recruiting for PRN Float Pool LPNs to work in the midlands metropolitan area. The LPN is responsible for insuring and providing quality and consistent resident care. The LPN provides personal care to the residents, including routine nursing care in accordance with facility policy and procedures. The Float pool LPN will work between our two midlands area facilities, The Heritage at Lowman and Rice Estate.

General information:

PRN status Must work a minimum of 24 hours per week Must work a minimum of 1 shift at The Heritage at Lowman and 1 shift at Rice Estate each week

Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as an LPN in the State of South Carolina Knowledge of the principles, methods, and standards of professional nursing Able to communicate effectively with residents and staff Able to give suitable instructions and assignments to employees and supervise employee performance Familiar with the organization, regulations, policies and procedures of the facility as they relate to nursing services Knowledge of the practice of Gerontological Nursing Must be a team player Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds, turning, moving and transporting residents Come join our team and find personal and professional satisfaction as you share your talents and skills with us.
