to join our Tick Borne IllnessClinic team!

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) can provide basicnursing care to patients under the general supervision of aregistered nurse, and delegated nursing and medical acts beyondbasic nursing care under the direct supervision of the registerednurse.

HOURS:

Full-Time or 1.0 FTE, 80

Hours Biweekly, Day Only:

8-5Experience/QualificationsKnowledge of patient care standardsnormally acquired through graduation from an accredited PracticalNursing program.

Successful completion of an IV therapy andpharmacology course.

Previous experience beneficial.

CurrentWisconsin LPN licensure, or application made and awaitingresults.

Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days ofhire – All clinical personnel in identified job codes are requiredto maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) training through independentstudy, online manikin and knowledge testing. An acceptable trainingprogram is the Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider coursefrom the American Heart Association or the American Red CrossProfessional Rescuer Program with AED. (See CardiopulmonaryResuscitation Training Policy).Annual accrual of CEUs/continuingeducation requirements per Education Council recommendation for thegiven year.
