Nurse RN or LPN – Specialist Office Endocrinology Consultants of East Tennessee Maryville, TN 37801 Privately owned Alcoa endocrinology office seeking a full time nurse. We are a private practice and small office that offers a positive, supportive work environment with set hours (Mon – Thur 7:00 am to 05:30 pm and an occasional half day on Friday) and no holidays or weekends. Job responsibilities:

Partner with and assist a MD, NP or PA that specializes in caring for patients with endocrine disorders including diabetes, thyroid cancer, pituitary and adrenal dysfunction, and osteoporosis . Daily tasks include rooming patients, vital signs, downloading insulin pumps and glucose meters, hormone injections, triage, patient education and care coordination. EMR and phone triage experience is required, must have superior communication and spelling, computer/keyboarding skills, advanced medical terminology, and knowledge of common medications.
