What You’ll Do:

Provide direction and supervision to nursing personnel under the guidance of the Nurse Manager and Director of Nursing. Deliver high-quality care tailored to the individual needs of each patient, including adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and ensure the implementation of patient care goals that promote physical and emotional recovery. Assist with patient assessments, administering medications, performing treatments, and providing education to patients and families. Demonstrate flexibility with scheduling, including weekends, holidays, and a rotating shift schedule to meet the needs of our patient population.

What We’re Looking For:

Current LPN licensure in the State of Tennessee. Graduation from an accredited School of Practical Nursing. Two years of experience in acute care is preferred, or participation in an appropriate orientation/refresher program. CPR certification (current). Advanced IV Therapy Certification (or the willingness to obtain within 3 months; new grads must complete within 12 months). Strong communication and patient care skills, with the ability to assess patient conditions and take appropriate action. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, with compassion and professionalism.

Physical & Mental Requirements:

Ability to lift objects over 50 pounds and assist with patient transfers (over 200 pounds). Must be able to stand and walk for long periods and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
