Camp RN/LPN Nurse 3.9 3.9 out of 5 stars 400 Camp Discovery Lane, Gainesboro, TN 38562 Camp Discovery is seeking a compassionate and skilled RN or LPN to provide high-quality medical care to campers and staff in a fun, inclusive, and supportive camp environment. The RN/LPN plays a vital role in promoting the health, safety, and well-being of campers and staff, many of whom have developmental or physical disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer daily medications and medical treatments as prescribed Monitor and manage chronic health conditions and respond to medical needs Provide first aid and emergency care for injuries and illnesses Maintain accurate and confidential health records and logs Collaborate with caregivers, camp staff, and external medical professionals as needed Communicate clearly with families regarding camper health updates Educate staff on relevant health protocols, camper-specific medical needs, and emergency procedures Ensure medical supplies are stocked and organized Requirements Current Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice. Ability to assess vital signs accurately and respond to changes in patient conditions. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and safety. Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift patients, and perform other physical tasks associated with nursing duties.
