Certified Medical Assistant Full Job Description Description:
UT Urgent Care Clinics have provided medical care for acute illnesses and minor injuries to Knoxville, TN and surrounding counties since 2007. UT Urgent Care – Sevierville is seeking experienced, well qualified float who must be a team player and comfortable working in a fast pace urgent care environment. A successful candidate will be expected to perform the following duties but not limited to:
Job Description:
Maintain a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment for patients/families during visit, by demonstrating sensitivity to patients’ comfort and privacy. Accurately records patient history, complete patient vitals, retrieves basic condition of patient and reports to appropriate practitioner. Assists provider with examination, procedures and other processes related to direct patient care, such as: applying splints and wound dressings, collecting and record various laboratory tests, administer oral and injectable medication.
POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
Flexible Schedule:
40-hour work week scheduled between 4-10-hour shifts per week, with option for overtime pay (1.5 x hour)
Shift Differential For Weekend Hours :
Up to $2.00 per hour

SALARY DESCRIPTION
$17.00/hr – $22.00/hr Shift differential up to $2.00 per hour Dependent on experience
Requirements:
10/12 hour shifts, including ability to work weekends (no overnights) Reliable transportation Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-driven environment Outstanding customer service skills
Education/Experience:
Requirement of GED or High School Diploma Licensed LPN or Completion of Medical Assistant program, registered/certified (RMA/CMA) or 2+ years’ experience working in medical office
