ABrief Overview The LPN is responsible for assisting with the dailyclinical activities under the supervision of the physician and ornurse practitioner providing primary care services. • Complies with established patient careguidelines, maintains established clinic policies, procedures andobjectives, is aware of patient rights and confidentiality issuesand abides by established communication policy with regard to theage specific populations.
• Accurately obtains, organizes andrecords necessary patient data.
• Updates all patient recordssubsequent to clinical information from physicians, nursepractitioner, including lab, etc., and assists in maintainingpertinent records.
• Assists physicians, nurse practitioners withprocedures as needed.
• Performs under supervision of physician ornurse practitioner, the day-to-day clinical operations.
• Helpsmaintain a clean, orderly and safe environment for patient andstaff. Education/Formal Training Requirements
• Technical Degree orDiploma Nursing
• LPN Work Experience Requirements
• No prior workexperience Licenses and Certifications Requirements

• The physical activities of this position may include climbing,pushing, standing, hearing, walking, reaching, grasping, kneeling,stooping, and repetitive motion.
• Must have good balance andcoordination.
• The physical requirements of this position are:medium work
• exerting up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally and/orup to 25 lbs. of force frequently.
• The Associate is required tohave close visual acuity including color, depth perception, andfield of vision to perform an activity, such as assessing patients,preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing acomputer terminal; or extensive reading.
• Frequent invasive andnon-invasive patient contact.
• Exposure to patient body fluids aswell as exposure to hazardous or poisonous materials.
• Ability toreact quickly to emergency situations.
