• Job Summary:

• We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. This full time position is for 3 days per week on a 7A-7P shift, including every other weekend. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional nursing care, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety in a supportive environment.

• Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or physician, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring vital signs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary medical teams, effectively communicating patient status and care needs.
• Document patient information and care activities accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
• Assist in the development and implementation of individualized care plans that cater to patients’ physical, emotional, and psychological needs.
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families about illnesses, treatments, and ongoing care plans.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment in compliance with facility standards and regulations.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff training as required.
• Respond to emergency situations and provide appropriate interventions as needed.

• Qualifications:

• Current and valid LPN or RN license in the state of Tennessee.
• Previous nursing experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Understanding of nursing principles and practices as well as infection control measures.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Flexibility to work on weekends and holidays as scheduled.

• Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 or more pounds.
• Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
• Capability to assist with patient mobility, transfers, and ambulation.
