Our mission is to ensure delivery of affordable, accessible, and high-quality health care integrated with the promotion of lifelong wellness for MTSU students. To that end, we offer a range of services, from sick visits to physicals, including diagnostic testing, immunizations, women’s health, lab/x-ray services, dietetic consults, and health coaching. What You Will Do As a Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse at MTSU Student Health Services, you will perform such duties as (but not limited to) Assisting with physical examinations/procedures Room patients, obtain vital signs and perform clinical testing Administering medications Recording patient history EKGs PFTs Perform limited laboratory procedures according to medical protocols Maintain and clean supplies and equipment for use by health personnel Who We Are Seeking MTSU Student Health Services is seeking RNs/LPNs to work on an as needed basis. Minimum Qualifications Licensed as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse in Tennessee Two years of experience in a medical/surgical area, clinic, or physician’s office setting Effective interpersonal and decision-making skills with a student-oriented perspective Knowledge of the basic principles and practices of nursing Ability to express ideas clearly and concisely Ability to provide basic nursing care using standard equipment and procedures BLS certified What Else You Should Know 7.5 hour shifts, clinic open Weekdays only, 8am
