POSITION SUMMARY
The primary purpose of yourjob is to assess residents needs, develop an individualized careplan, administer nursing care, evaluate nursing care and supervisenursing assistants and other personnel in the delivery of nursingcare. Such supervision must be in accordance with current federal,state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that governour community, and as may be required by the Director of NursingServices or designee to ensure that the highest degree of qualitycare is maintained at all times. Follows all health, sanitary andinfection control policies and maintains established standards ofpractice set forth by the community’s administration and NursingPolicies and Procedures.
Education & Qualifications:
Must possess acurrent, unencumbered license to practice as a LPN within the statein which you work.
Must possess a current CPR certification.
Must beable to communicate in English and have the ability to followverbal and written instructions.
Must possess and demonstrate theability to carry out both verbal and written directions.
Mustpossess and demonstrate good interpersonal skills and attention todetail.
Ability to work with supervisors, co-workers and communitystaff in the performance of duties.
Ability to observe proper safetyand sanitary techniques.
Ability to work hours as scheduled based onthe requirements of the position/assignment.
Must not pose a directthreat to the health and safety of others in the workplace.
Experience:
Previous experience in long-term care preferred, but notrequired.
