Travel LPN Itechmatics Inc 185 Sherman Drive, Saint Johnsbury, VT 05819 Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in various settings, including hospitals, home care, and hospice environments. As an LPN, you will work under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians, assisting in the delivery of patient-centered care while ensuring compliance with medical protocols and standards. Duties Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team. Provide catheter care and assist with other personal hygiene needs. Document patient information accurately in medical records. Assist in laboratory tests and procedures as needed. Support patients and families through education about health management and treatment plans. Participate in case management for patients requiring ongoing care. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in acute care settings, teaching hospitals, or hospice care environments. Operate neonatal ventilators when required for specialized patient populations. Experience Previous experience in a hospital, acute care, or home care setting is preferred. Familiarity with medical documentation practices is essential. Experience with catheter care and neonatal ventilator operation is a plus. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while demonstrating independent decision-making skills.
