The Ritz-Carlton Bal Harbour, Miami, located at 10295 CollinsAvenue, Bal Harbour, FL, 33154 currently has the followingopportunity: Massage Therapist (140027CQ): Provide massage services to guestsusing props and/or products. Provide body treatments to guestsusing body scrubs, wraps, and/or hydrotherapy. Assess guest needsand inquire about contraindications (e.g., allergies, high bloodpressure, and pregnancy) before beginning service. Keep up to datewith current techniques and modalities related to their field ofwork. Escort guests to and from treatment rooms. Arrangeworkstation, treatment room, and/or drapes. Frequently check withguest to promote comfort, safety and security throughout service.

Promote and sell spa/salon services including retail offeringsrelated to the Spa. Clean, maintain, and sterilize tools. Maintaincleanliness of workstation and/or treatment room throughout shift,dispose of trash and dirty linens, and secure supplies andequipment at the end of each shift. Monitor and stick to timeschedule throughout the day. Handle inappropriate guest behavior byfollowing Marriott International standard operating procedures forInappropriate conduct for guests and therapists, leading up to andincluding stopping a treatment or service and informingsupervisor/manager. Maintain current skills and licensure inservice area as per regional requirements.

Report accidents,injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; complete safetytraining and certifications. Follow all company policies andprocedures; make sure uniform and personal appearance are clean andprofessional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information;protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guestsaccording to company standards; anticipate and address guests?service needs; thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speak withothers using clear and professional language. Develop and maintainpositive working relationships with others. Stand, sit, or walk foran extended period of time; grasp, turn, and manipulate objects ofvarying size and weight. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and placeobjects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds withoutassistance. Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size andweight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
