Certified Medical Assistant Camellia Dermatology 200 Laurel Avenue East, Foley, AL 36535 Job Description We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care and support medical staff.

Duties:

Assist healthcare providers in patient examinations and procedures Perform medical administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient record Administer medications under provider supervision Provide direct patient care including taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and assisting with treatments Handle patient inquiries and ensure excellent customer service Prescription refills Medical prior authorization Utilize medical terminology in documentation and communication Contributes to a positive work climate and the overall team effort of the department and clinic. Performs related responsibilities as required or directed

Requirements:

Certification as a Medical Assistant recommended Proficiency in medical terminology Ability to administer medications and provide patient care Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Familiarity with medical systems for documentation and patient service
