Job Summary:
Document vital signs and medical history. Clean/stock exam rooms. Assist providers with wound care and office procedures. Answer phone. Register patients. Verify insurance. Process prescription refills. Dressing changes. Transport patients. Manage medical supply stock and inventory. Enter EMR data. Provide excellent customer service/lead by example. Ensure patient care is completed in a timely manner and productivity goals are met. Demonstrate and encourage team behavior and exceptional patient/guest experiences. Uphold and promote patient safety and quality.
Education:
Active certified medical assistant license preferred.
Experience:
Previous experience in a clinical or hospital environment preferred.
Additional Skills/Abilities:
Excellent assessment skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Work independently and effectively in a busy environment. Knowledgeable of EMRs and regulatory practices.
