As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality medical care to our patients. Previous experience preferred. Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures. Perform vital sign assessments and document patient information accurately. Experience with EMR and billing software needed. Maintain and manage patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with medical regulations. Utilize medical terminology effectively when communicating with patients and staff. Answers telephones in professional manner and makes appointments within the scheduling software. Participate in maintaining a clean and organized clinical environment. Good team work ethic and professionalism required. Experience Previous experience in a medical assistant role or relevant healthcare setting is preferred. Familiarity with urology practice is advantageous. Prior assisting in minor surgical procedures helpful. Experience with front desk, insurance pre-certifications, prior authorizations, referrals and verification of insurance eligibility preferred. Candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills, demonstrate empathy towards patients, and have the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
