Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures, ensuring comfort and safety. Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs, medical histories, and documenting information accurately. Perform basic life support as needed and assist in emergency situations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinical environment, including sterilization of instruments. Schedule appointments, manage patient flow, and coordinate referrals as necessary. Handle administrative tasks such as coding patient records and managing electronic health systems. Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care as directed by physicians. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient clinic operations and high-quality patient care. Qualifications Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar role is preferred. Knowledge of dermatology practices is a plus; experience in outpatient settings is highly desirable. Familiarity with basic life support techniques and emergency medicine protocols. Strong understanding of medical-surgical procedures and physiology knowledge. Proficient in medical coding and familiarity with electronic health record systems.
