Our team includes a pediatrician, pediatric nurse practitioner, medical assistants, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, and instructors who collaborate closely to make sure each child receives the care and support they need—both in and out of the medical clinic.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a mission-driven, empathetic Pediatric Medical Assistant to join our care team. In this role, you will support the delivery of clinical services for children with ADHD, developmental delays, anxiety, and other neurodevelopmental needs. You will work closely with healthcare professionals, children, and families to ensure a welcoming, accessible, and efficient clinic experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Support & Patient Care Prepare children and families for developmental and behavioral health assessments. Triage patients, obtain vitals, and record accurate growth and developmental data. Escort patients and families to exam rooms, ensuring comfort and clear communication. Support sensory-aware procedures and behavioral accommodations during visits. Perform and document CPT evaluations when indicated, using clinic protocol. Assist with hearing, vision, and psychosocial screenings (e.g., SCARED assessments). Clean, disinfect, and restock clinic rooms and equipment between patients. Support clinical flow by prepping rooms, printing visit summaries, and organizing patient folders (Vanderbilts, RTC sheets, etc.). Administrative & Support Duties Schedule and confirm appointments. Assist with front reception when needed. Ensure excellent customer service by returning portal messages, calls, and emails. Assist with insurance verifications, referrals, and prior authorizations. Coordinate across clinical, behavioral, and support teams. Scanning and organizing documents into EHR patient records. Data entry. Participate in team meetings.
