Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented, compassionate Medical Assistant to join our vein care team. The ideal candidate will support physicians and nurse practitioners in delivering high-quality patient care, assist with vascular procedures, and help maintain an efficient, clean clinical environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare surgical trays ensuring they are sterile, complete & organized for each procedure Prep patient for procedure and ensure cleanliness and readiness for physician Record procedure notes (operative notes, vitals etc.) Offer physician & APP assistance during / with prep of all vein procedures (e.g., sclerotherapy, ultrasound-guided ablations) Provide pre- and post-procedure education and care instructions to patients Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records (EMR) Sterilize and prepare surgical instruments, restock supplies Schedule patient appointments and follow-up visits Manage inventory of clinical supplies and reorder as needed Follow HIPAA and OSHA guidelines for safety and patient confidentiality Support front desk operations as needed (check-in, check-out, phone calls) Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Medical Assistant Certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) preferred Phlebotomy certification a plus Familiarity with sterile technique a plus 1-2 years of experience in a medical office, preferably in a vascular, dermatology, or surgical setting Familiarity with vein procedures and terminology is a plus Proficiency with EMR systems (Nextech a plus) Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and assist patients for extended periods Lift or move supplies and equipment (up to 25 lbs) Occasional bending and reaching Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays
