Medical Assistant at a Rheumatology Clinic Rheumatology and Osteoporosis Centers of Alabama 3000 Meadow Lake Drive, Birmingham, AL 35242 Exciting opportunity to join a successful, niche’ Rheumatology Clinic conveniently located in the heart of Birmingham, close to the intersection of Highway 280 and 119. No weekends. No nights. Position with 20-30 hours a week, between the hours of 8AM to 5PM Monday to Thursday, and 8 AM to 1 PM on Friday. Opportunity to grow into a full time position over the next 6 months. Benefits are offered to full time employees. Small team of 5-6 people, with a goal to provide excellent patient care in a great team environment. Applicant will be responsible for greeting patients, checking in/out patients and rooming patients. Other responsibilities may include assisting the physician and nurse practitioner in patient care activities, as needed. Great working hours, with no weekends or nights. Prior experience working in a medical or dental clinic is highly desirable, but not necessary.
