It is expected th MSAs this level receive guidance from more experienced staff members and require frequent and direct supervision. At this level, MSAs apply general rules and policies reling to clinic functions, staff, and automed da processing methods in support of trement to pients. They utilize a variety of pient da systems in scheduling pients for trement and annotes pient records. They make and cancel appointments, review pient records for necessary informion, and review pient demographics and insurance verificion. (c) Demonstred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities. Candides must demonstre ALL of the KSAs below:i. Ability to meet, communice, and interact with individuals in a courteous and helpful manner in order to give instructions and arrange appointments.ii. Ability to utilize computer systems to enter administrive da in pient systems.iii. Two years of educion above high school. (c) Assignment. This is a developmental level MSA position. It is expected th MSAs this level receive minor and less frequent guidance from higher experienced staff members for more difficult tasks. Assignments this level include, but are not limited to: scheduling and rescheduling pients for trement; interviewing pients for appointments; referring pients to other medical specialty clinics; providing informion to pients necessary to resolve complaints; interacting with both internal and external customers; reviewing and documenting medical outpient and inpient electronic health records, as well as administrive records; verifying third party insurance and upding informion; obtaining medical informion from pients; and coordining informion and actions reled to pient care and services.
