Full Job Description Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare professionals in providing patient care
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and maintaining medical records
- Take patient vitals and record medical history
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical instruments
- Triage including allergies and medication lists, medical history
- Entering information into EMR system, patient referrals, prior authorizations, contacting patients, labs, diagnostics, pharmacies
- Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens for testing
- Assist with minor surgical procedures
- Provide patient education and instructions for at-home care
Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Proficiency in medical terminology and documentation
- Knowledge of medical procedures, equipment, and instruments
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
