Supervising patients, maintaining records, professionalism, taking vitals, provide emotional support, pre and post procedures, collect patient information, injections, infusions, and HIPPA Compliance.
Job SummaryFull time and/or part-time medical assistant needed for a busy hydration and weight loss officeResponsibilities and DutiesCollect patient information, record history and obtain vitalsPre and post proceduresAssist doctor during patient appointments and scribeAssist doctor during office proceduresPrepare patients for exams and proceduresSuture/Staple removalCoordinate care with other physiciansInstrument and Equipment cleaning and sterilizationStock, clean and sanitize patient roomsInventory managementAnswer patient and pharmacy callsMaintain Patient confidentiality and HIPAA ComplianceQualifications and SkillsThe applicant must be a certified medical assistant. The applicant must be proficient with sterile techniqueHigh school diploma is requiredBLS Certification is requiredMicrosoft Office and computer skills are requiredThis is a fast-paced environment that requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as organizational abilities
