Our work environment includes: On-the-job training Modern office setting Safe work environment As a Medical Assistant/Floater you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office. You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner. Schedule Monday –

Friday:

8AM-5PM Extended hours as needed (Until 6:30PM) Weekends as needed (Typically scheduled once every few months) Responsibilities Work in the office primarily as a medical assistant, but also assist in the office as needed Interview patients and document basic medical history Organize and schedule appointments Perform x-rays, EKGs and draw blood for labs Schedule appointments, input referrals and follow-ups from hospital Update patient EMR, Triage and or discharge Assist during medical examinations Work the fax box, messages and patient portal Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments Skills Proven working experience as a medical assistant Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work Social perceptiveness and service oriented
