Medical Assistant Executive Surgery Center of Little Rock 11220 Executive Center Drive, Little Rock, AR 72211 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced medical environment. You will assist healthcare professionals in various clinical and administrative tasks, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care during their visits. Duties Assist with patient examinations and procedures, ensuring comfort and safety. Record and update patient medical histories, vital signs, and other relevant information. Prepare patients for X-rays and other diagnostic tests as needed. Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records. Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment. Communicate effectively with patients regarding their care plans and follow-up instructions. Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care for patients in both Level I and Level II Trauma Centers. Demonstrate knowledge of medical terminology to facilitate accurate communication within the healthcare team. Skills Strong understanding of hospital medicine and inpatient care practices. Proficient in taking vital signs and understanding physiological processes. Familiarity with X-ray procedures and protocols. Ability to work effectively in a Level I or Level II Trauma Center environment. Excellent patient care skills, demonstrating empathy and professionalism at all times. Knowledge of medical administrative support functions, including appointment scheduling and record management. Proficiency in medical terminology to ensure clear communication with patients and staff.
