Duties:

• Perform patient service duties, including greeting and checking in patients, scheduling appointments, and answering phone calls.
• Take vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse rate, accurately recording them in patients’ medical records.
• Assist with basic life support procedures and emergency situations as needed.
• Administer medications under the supervision of a licensed healthcare provider.
• Perform and initiave prior authorizatons for Medication.
• Provide direct patient care, including assisting with examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Offer medical administrative support by maintaining patient records, updating information, and ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Collaborate with the medical team to ensure smooth workflow and efficient patient care.
• Demonstrate knowledge of hospital medicine and adhere to all relevant protocols and guidelines.
• Utilize your understanding of physiology to provide appropriate care and support to patients.

Requirements:

• Valid certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited institution.
• Previous experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting is preferred.
• Proficient in performing vital signs measurements accurately.
• Knowledge of basic life support procedures and emergency response protocols.
• Familiarity with medication administration techniques and safety guidelines.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and medical staff.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information.
