Begin your journey as a Medical Assistant (MA) with the Health First Medical Assistant Program in partnership with Eastern Florida State College. As an MA, you will work alongside physicians, nurses and other office staff, mainly in medical offices and clinics: Measuring patients’ height, weight and blood pressure. Preparing patients for their exams. Updating medical records. Scheduling appointments. Start Your Career in Healthcare Today Tuition assistance – We will provide up to $5,000 financial assistance to cover the costs of your MA program tuition. Gain valuable, on-the-job experience while in school – Work per diem as a patient observer or patient service representative, as needed, in a variety of shifts and locations depending on experience and availability. Easy transition – As a Health First associate you will transition into an MA position upon course graduation. Work Experience Must have high school diploma or GED, pass a background check, and gain Admission to Eastern Florida State College’s (EFSC) Medical Assistant program. Must be able to attend one of the two scheduled Student Information sessions hosted by Health First in partnership with EFSC on one of the dates and times below.

Session Dates and Times:

Wednesday, July 9th, from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM Wednesday, July 16th, from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM Upon program completion, associates must agree to continue working as an MA at Health First for 24 months. Supplemental costs such as scrubs, books, labs, testing, and certification fees are not included
