PM Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Medical Assistant with strong clinical and administrative skills to join a busy healthcare team in Satellite Beach. The ideal candidate is proficient in phlebotomy, patient interaction, and supporting providers in a fast-paced clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws with accuracy and patient care Ensure proper labeling, processing, and shipping of lab specimens Greet and assist patients professionally; collect medical histories and vital signs Assist with patient intake and maintain updated EMR records Provide patients with information on procedures, appointments, and follow-up care Support physicians during exams and minor procedures Prepare and sanitize exam rooms; ensure supplies are stocked Administer medications or injections as directed Perform basic diagnostic testing as needed Schedule appointments and confirm patient information Verify insurance and manage referrals Answer phone calls and follow up on patient inquiries
Requirements:
5-7 years of experience as a Medical Assistant in both front and back office settings Recent phlebotomy experience (within the last 12 months) Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred BLS/CPR certification required
