Urology Medical Assistant Griffith Urology, PLLC 575 South Wickham Road, Melbourne, FL 32904 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our medical staff and ensuring that patients receive high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. This position requires a strong understanding of medical procedures and excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare professionals. Urology or similiar experience is a plus but not required. Duties Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow within the clinic. Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers, adhering to safety protocols. Perform basic life support as needed, ensuring patient safety at all times. Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse. Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records. Prepare patients for X-Ray examinations and assist with imaging procedures when necessary. Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment. Support urgent care and outpatient services by providing timely assistance to patients in need. Qualifications Knowledge of physiology and medicine is essential for effective patient care. Previous experience in medication administration is preferred. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
