Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting the medical staff in delivering quality healthcare services. This is a full-time position.

Duties:

• Perform vital signs measurements, including blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, and respiratory rate
• Provide excellent patient service by greeting patients, preparing them for examinations, and answering any questions or concerns
• Assist with medical administrative support tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and verifying insurance information
• Utilize medical terminology to accurately document patient information and update electronic health records
• Assist healthcare professionals with procedures and treatments as needed
• Possess knowledge of human anatomy and physiology to assist with patient care
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff
• Assist with coding and billing processes to ensure accurate documentation and reimbursement
• Administer medications under the supervision of healthcare professionals

Experience:

• Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or related healthcare role is preferred
• Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of medical procedures
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
• Knowledge of electronic health record systems is a plus

Requirements:

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent certification
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and empathy towards patients
• Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
