EXPERIENCED BILINGUAL
(English/Spanish) MA Hours are: 8:30 am-5:00 pm Monday-Friday or only Tues-Wed-Thurs (P/T) Must have at least 1 year of experience as a Registered/Certified Medical Assistant , in a medical office setting. Responsibilities may include but not limited to the following: Front and Back office experience •Knowledge of aseptic technique. Position may require surgical assisting for minor procedures. •
SCREENING AND CONSENTING STUDY PATIENTS. CONSENTING
patients for remote monitoring of Pacemakers, Defibrillators and Loop recorders Perform EKG’s hook up and/or order
HOLTER/CEM/MCOT
heart monitors Obtain vitals Phlebotomy a plus Refill prescriptions, prior authorization Obtaining/Maintaining Patient Medical Records, (knowledge of HIPAA compliance) Updating Patient Files Prepare charts for patient appointments, (proper documentation will include, procedures performed, medical history, medications, allergies etc.
MEDICATION RECONCILIATION
) Insurance verification/Obtaining referrals/authorizations for cardiac monitors and Rx’s Check In/ Check Out patients Appointment scheduling Answering multi-line phone system, helping patients with medical questions Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office, (Word, Excel, etc.) Knowledge of medical terminology Other duties and responsibilities as assigned Ability to manage HIPPA and OSHA documentation.
