The ideal candidate will have experience in outpatient settings, including clinics and urgent care, and will be skilled in providing high-quality patient care. This role is essential for supporting healthcare providers and ensuring a smooth patient experience, particularly in specialties such as geriatrics and dermatology. Duties Assist healthcare professionals with patient examinations and procedures in an outpatient clinic or urgent care setting. Administer medications as directed by physicians and monitor patients for any adverse reactions. Measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiratory rate. Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining medical histories and documenting relevant information. Maintain accurate medical records using appropriate medical terminology. Ensure the cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment. Educate patients on medication administration techniques, including inhalation methods if applicable. Support the healthcare team in various administrative tasks as needed. Requirements Previous experience as a Medical Assistant in outpatient clinics or urgent care environments is preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology related to geriatrics, dermatology, and pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) practices is advantageous. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients of all ages. Ability to perform clinical tasks such as taking vital signs and administering medications safely. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to maintain accurate patient records. Certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred but not required.
