The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care within a dynamic hospital environment, specifically in a Level I or Level II Trauma Center. This position requires strong skills in patient interaction, medication administration, and familiarity with hospital systems. The Medical Assistant will support healthcare professionals in providing efficient and effective medical services. Duties Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patients for adverse reactions. Maintain accurate patient records, including coding and documentation of medical histories. Prepare patients for diagnostic tests and assist with the interpretation of results. Coordinate patient care activities, ensuring seamless communication between departments. Support internal medicine practices by managing appointments, follow-ups, and patient inquiries. Uphold compliance with hospital policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff. Requirements Previous experience in a hospital setting, particularly within a Level I or Level II Trauma Center, is preferred.
