Job Summary Our client is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to provide essential support by performing a range of medical tasks including patient intake, evaluation, and care coordination. The role involves direct patient interactions, accurately recording medical information, and ensuring compliance with medical protocols. Key Responsibilities Perform medical intake procedures, including taking vital signs and patient history. Conduct complete patient evaluations and assessments. Record and report symptoms, reactions, treatments, and changes in patient’s conditions. Administer immunizations as directed by the physician. Practice safe phlebotomy skills using standard precautions. Document all patient care accurately and in a timely manner. Complete all medical prior authorization and documentation requirements. Maintain temperature logs for clinic refrigerators containing specimens and medications. Practice safety, environmental, and infection control methods. Assist with referrals and coordinate services with other organizations, federal, and local programs. Collaborate with clinic team members to coordinate patient services.
