Duties Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures. Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse. Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures and ensuring comfort. Maintain accurate patient records and manage electronic health systems. Perform basic laboratory tests and assist with coding for billing purposes. Administer medications as directed by physicians or nursing staff. Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention. Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the clinic environment. Skills Strong knowledge of anatomy to assist in various medical procedures. Experience or interest in emergency medicine, geriatrics, dermatology, and internal medicine. Proficient in taking vital signs accurately and efficiently. Familiarity with coding practices for medical billing purposes. Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment while also being capable of independent work.
