Job Description
Medical Assistant (Part-Time) Ohealth by doctor T 600 North Hiatus Road, Pembroke Pines, FL 33026 We here at OHealth are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Medical Assistant who is proficient in using ECW (eClinicalWorks) medical software. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in our healthcare team, providing high-quality patient care and ensuring seamless electronic health record management.
Responsibilities :
Efficiently navigate and utilize the ECW medical software for patient scheduling, charting, refills, referalls, prior authorization. Assist healthcare providers with clinical procedures, including but not limited to, taking vital signs, recording patient history, and preparing patients for examinations. Phlebotomist (IMPORTANT) / IV therapy (Ideal) Facilitate communication between patients, healthcare providers, and support staff to ensure a smooth patient experience. Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to optimize patient care and outcomes.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Medical Assistant with a strong proficiency in ECW medical software. Must be Bilingual- English/Spanish Certification or diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program. Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and protocols. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Multitaking How to
