The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk and providing exceptional patient service. Responsibilities Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner Schedule patient appointments and update necessary information in the system Verify insurance information and assist with billing inquiries Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy and confidentiality Assist with basic medical procedures such as taking vital signs if required Handle incoming calls, emails, and inquiries promptly and efficiently Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care Qualifications Proficiency in medical terminology and experience working in a medical setting Experience with patient service in pulmonolgy practice is a plus Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with medical systems such as OR systems would be advantageous
