Job Summary As a Bilingual Medical Assistant, you will be an integral part of our healthcare team, ensuring the smooth operation of clinical activities while providing top-tier patient care. Under general supervision in an outpatient clinical setting, you will perform a variety of tasks, including initial patient triage, assisting medical providers, and executing routine medical procedures according to established protocols. Key Responsibilities Deliver exceptional customer service and foster a welcoming environment for patients and their families. Conduct initial patient triage and obtain patient histories. Ensure efficient patient flow, minimizing wait times and coordinating with providers. Assist providers with direct patient care and routine medical procedures. Stay updated on policies, procedures, and compliance regulations. Communicate patient results and follow up as needed. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring exam rooms are fully stocked. Adhere to safety, environmental, and infection control protocols. Perform routine clinical tasks, including: EKGs Ear lavage Sterile dressing changes Nebulizer treatments Suture removal Administering immunizations and therapeutic injections Complete additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Qualifications Bilingual (English/Spanish) required to effectively communicate with a diverse patient population. Medical Assistant certification preferred, or equivalent clinical training. Strong customer service and communication skills (both written and verbal). Knowledge of business office procedures and experience in a healthcare setting. Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and problem-solve effectively. Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with providers, patients, and colleagues.
