The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care in a fast paced environment. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and various healthcare settings, including medical office experience, if an endocrinologist office experience better but no preference. Duties Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures in various settings. Perform clinical tasks including taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and documenting medical histories. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the examination rooms and medical equipment. Educate patients on treatment plans and provide instructions for follow-up care. Collaborate with nursing staff and physicians to ensure optimal patient outcomes in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Stay updated on medical terminology and procedures relevant to dermatology, medical-surgical practices, operating room (OR) protocols, and urgent care. Qualifications Certification as a Medical Assistant or equivalent experience in a healthcare setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is essential. Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation purposes.
