Medical Assistant Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our urgent care clinic team. The role involves assisting in a fast-paced environment, providing vital support to healthcare professionals, and ensuring efficient patient care. Responsibilities Collect patient demographics based on symptoms. Assist with electronic health records management. Perform medical assistant duties, including taking vitals. Provide exceptional customer service at the front desk. Utilize medical terminology accurately. Support healthcare providers with patient care. Essential Skills 1+ year experience in a fast-paced clinic. MA diploma or certification. Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems. Strong understanding of medical terminology. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in customer service within a healthcare setting. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS). Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment. Work Environment The work environment involves working onsite at a primary care clinic, with a typical schedule of Monday to Friday, from 8am to 5pm.
