If you thrive in a collaborative and dynamic setting, we encourage you to apply!” Job Description To welcome and introduce patients into the practice by way of in-person visits, telephones, referrals, and electronic communications Schedules appointments following established office protocols Verifies patient insurance benefits, eligibility, and has a clear understanding of co-payments, co-insurance, and deductibles Demonstrates ability to correctly communicate benefits to patients. Obtains and assures appropriate referrals are received before patient visits, including consultations (new and follow-up from hospital) Submitting Orders for testing or consults Collects and posts patient co-payments, co-insurance, and deductibles at time of service as well as any patient outstanding balances. Maintains an orderly and efficient office routine by prioritizing work activities, evaluating effectiveness, and modifying activities if necessary Answers patient calls, electronic messaging, letters, and other correspondence as appropriate in an acceptable time frame Check patients in or out (When covering lunches or when someone is on PTO) Assist MAs with Rooming Patients and cleaning instruments when 2 physicians are in clinic Covering the MA or Front Desk, when someone is on PTO When covering for
MA:
Prep charts Go over MIP items in chart, such as review medications and other medical questions Spray inside of nasal cavity (nostrils) to prepare for nasal endoscopy (You will be trained) Turn over rooms Stock Rooms Let Manager know when items are low Sterilize equipment Submit orders for testing or consults Check clinical inbox and work on incoming items Enroll patients in Dupixent (medication for polyps, if needed) Submit info for auth on Rx when needed Return patient messages within 24 hours
Requirements:
Must be dynamic, energetic, and detail-oriented We are looking for a self-starter possessing strong interpersonal and organizational skills. The applicant must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to multitask Complies with all Federal, State, HIPAA, and OSHA guidelines as well as organizational policies and procedures Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, especially Excel, Outlook, and Word Ability to support and implement new ideas and technology in daily workload to improve practice workflow Prior medical/healthcare experience with at least one major EMR/EHR system, Availity, and familiarity with methods involved in obtaining prior authorizations and insurance eligibility is preferred Must demonstrate superior customer service skills and communicate with patients in a courteous, professional, cooperative, and respectful manner Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with vendors, employees, other managers, and physicians Must provide two professional references, including preferred mode of contact.

Monday
- Thursday 7:30 am
- 3:30 pm or until last patient is completed. Friday
- 7:00 am
- 12:30 pm or until last patient is completed.
At times, it may be required to be here at 6:50 am if covering for MA or Front Desk. Also, there are rarely times when we may be here until 5 pm. Late stays can be rotated with other members of our team. We try to be fair to everyone.
