Responsibilities:

• The Lab Medical Assistant I is responsible for:
• + Collecting, receiving and processing of inpatient and outpatient specimens for testing + Communications with nursing regarding patient specimens + Referring specimens to outside laboratories + Interaction with physicians, clients and staff regarding referral lab tests + Performance of phlebotomy procedures + Performs other duties as assigned

• Education:

• + Required High School or equivalent

• Credentials:

• + Drivers License
• Credential equivalent experience:
