JOB DESCRIPTION

DUTIES:

Prepare patient’s chart for evaluation by entering medical history information. Take and record patients’ vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse. Provide patient education on office policy and procedures. Assist with patient service tasks, such as answering phone calls, scheduling appointments.

REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or equivalent. Proficiency in data entry into EMR -must possess excellent computer skills. Knowledge of medical terminology, medications, anatomy and physiology. Strong communication skills and ability to provide excellent patient care. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Spanish speaking (preferred).
