Must be willing to travel between clinics. KEY Responsibilities of a clinical assistant may include: Patient intake: Greeting patients, verifying insurance information, taking medical histories, and updating patient records Data entry: Recording patient information (Vitals, Medications. and any other medical information) into (EMR) systems Administrative tasks : Scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, handling phone calls, referrals, and completing necessary paperwork.

Patient education:

Providing basic health information and instructions to patients as directed by healthcare providers. Maintaining supplies : Checking inventory levels and restocking medical supplies. Required Skills for a

Clinical Assistant:

Excellent communication skills: Ability to interact effectively with patients, healthcare providers and other staff.

Attention to detail:

Accurate data entry and meticulous record keeping are crucial. Basic medical terminology knowledge : anatomy, and common procedures.

Technical proficiency:

Familiarity with electronic health records ( EHR) systems. Patient care skills : Empathy and ability to provide comfort and support to patients. Compliance with HIPPA regulations : Maintaining patient confidentiality.
