Medical Assistant Position Available In Hillsborough, Florida

Job Summary Our client is seeking a motivated and organized Medical Assistant with a focus on chart preparation and patient care. This role involves working both in and out of the clinic, managing patient documentation, basic medical records, scheduling, and patient inquiries. Key Responsibilities Prepare and chart patient records, working in clinic for 2 days and out of clinic for 2 days. Follow documentation and guidance for charting, understanding medical records and testing results. Utilize basic medical terminology and EMR (ECW) systems. Answer phone calls and schedule patients when necessary. Manage patient flow of 25-30 patients in 4-5 hour blocks, working 2 days in clinic and 2 days prepping. Qualifications No Medical Assistant certification needed. Experience in administration and charting required, though open to candidates with less experience. Skills Proficiency in EMR (ECW) systems. Detail oriented with effective time management skills. High level of professionalism and patient care focus.

Additional Requirements Schedule:

Monday to Thursday 9.5-hour days, Friday 4-hour day.
